Centennial Lake
The seven-acre Centennial Lake is the Garden's centerpiece. Constructed in 2008, the lake filled with water over the next two years. In 2010, 300 shade trees were planted, sod was laid, and two bridges were installed. The Sarah G. Allison Lake Trail was also added in 2010. Future additions include water fountains, an amphitheater, Monet and Van Gogh watercolor gardens, water-lily and lotus aquatic gardens, sun shelters, bulb lawns, vine fences, extensive plantings of flowering shrubs and perennials, and a serpentine bridge.
